It Takes Courage to Grow and Become Who You Really Are.- EE Cummings
Often when we enter into therapy we feel a sense of not belonging, not being enough, being too much, and/or being uncomfortable with who we are.
I will greet you in sessions with radical genuineness, and I can help empower you to find comfort in being your genuine self.
I will work to build a strong therapeutic alliance, with the goal of helping you feel safe, heard, and understood.
With a person centered and eclectic approach, I will meet you where you are at and provide you a space to achieve your goals.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and am a trauma informed therapist. I am trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Couples and Family Therapy, Sand Tray, and Motivational Interviewing.
I see clients ages 12 and older. Common symptoms and presenting issues I address through therapy include: trauma (acute and complex), difficulty regulating emotions, high impulsivity, shame, relational conflict, suicidal ideations and self-harm behavior, grief and loss, stage of life difficulties, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, panic, and family system conflict.
